For the second year running, West India Quay played host to London's Super League Triathlon event on 4 September, and what an event it was!
Thousands of people lined the track to catch their favourite athletes in action. The world's best tri-athletes battled it out in the swim-bike-run contest to bag the title of London's top athlete and winner of the 2022 Super League Triathlon. In the end, it was France's Cassandre Beaugrand and New Zealand's Hayden Wilde who scooped 1st place, with all athletes bringing their all on the day.
The event was bigger and better this year and brought with it a brand new event for youngsters in the form of the Kids' Tri Aquathlon. The morning event saw children from 11 years old take on the swim and run race. A great morning event for youngsters to partake in before watching their favourite athletes undertake the Elite races.
A huge congratulations to all of London's SLT winners and participants, and a big well done to everyone involved in organising this year's event.
