Sink your Teeth into Brand New Street Food: Introducing the New KERB Cohort
A brand new Cohort of InKERBators will launch at KERB On The Quay on Wednesday 29 June at 11.30am. The brand new street food traders will be serving up their oh-so-good dishes every Wednesday for the next six weeks.
With a great selection of cuisines and dishes, there is something for everyone in this new batch:
ZEST KITCHEN: Inspired by travels to South-East Asia in 2017, Saskia is the face behind Zest Kitchen. Her menu serves up plant-based Asian-inspired dishes with vibrant flavours. Look out for her Hoisin “duck” Bao buns.
TWERK’N’JERK: Starting from home in lockdown, Twerk’N’Jerk has since ticked almost every box, from catering on location at shoots to earning a residency in a local independent cinema. We are talking wraps jam-packed with juicy jerk chicken or pulled jackfruit.
SANTA BIFANA: Inspired by the beautiful simplicity of Traditional Portuguese food, Bruno is known for always adding a twist to his dishes. At Santa Bifana, you can enjoy authentic dishes prepared in three steps (base, filling & topping). We’re obsessed with the smashed, fried potatoes!
AMBA: AMBA is all about vibrant Tel-Aviv style stuffed pitas and are street-food pros having fed market-goers at Chatsworth Road & Broadway Market. Slow-cooked Harissa spiced Lamb, Za’atar Chicken and Grilled Halloumi & Aubergine.
CEYLON KOTHU: A taste of Sri Lanka awaits you as Ceylon Kothu serves up flavour-packed, fresh eats. We can’t wait for you to try their sumptuous and flakey layered topped with Veggie, Devil-Paneer or Chicken Curry.
SEN NOODS: The laidback guys of Sen Noods bring East-Asian Inspired Noodle Soups to KERB. You can’t miss their colourful truck and their original recipes are our definition of food for the soul!
NANIZI’S: Modern Bengali Cooking influenced by Grandma’s recipes sounds right up our street. You can choose from Rice Bowls or Paratha Wraps with either Lamb & Tomato Tarkhari, Chicken & Spinach Tarkhari or Potato & Bangladeshi Bean Bhaz.
THE YEAST BROTHERS: Last, but certainly not least are The Yeast Brothers and ‘it’s all about the dough’. Alessandro and Rafael are the duo behind 10″ pizzas with exciting, original topping combinations & a perfect ‘cheese-pull’.
